As we move forward, the tour takes you through the foothills of the ancient Aravalli range, with panoramic views and opportunities to visit historic forts and age-old temples along the way.

From Udaipur, we head towards Kumbhalgarh, which is home to the impressive Kumbhalgarh Fort. This fort is one of the largest in India and surrounded by a 36-kilometer-long wall. Cycling through this historic region, you’ll feel the power and beauty of Rajasthan’s past.

Next, we move on to Ranakpur, famous for its stunning Jain temples with intricate marble carvings. You will find that the temples are a peaceful sanctuary that will leave you in awe of its architectural splendor.

The journey then leads you to Beda Jawai, a region known for its wild beauty and rich wildlife, including the elusive leopards that inhabit the area. Here, you’ll witness the striking contrast between the rural landscape and the majestic Jawai Dam.

Continuing, you’ll make your way to Bhenswara, where the charm of rural Rajasthan shines through. The village is home to camel herders and tribes known for their vibrant culture, and you’ll stay overnight in a royal hunting lodge that has been transformed into a boutique hotel by the lakeside.

Itinerary

Cycling Tour to Rajasthan

Your adventure begins as our guide and driver welcome you at the Udaipur train station or Udaipur airport. From there, we will escort you to your hotel, where you can settle in and enjoy the serene surroundings. After a quick refresh, it's time to explore Udaipur, known as the ‘Venice of the East,’ on a half-day sightseeing tour. Wander through the city’s narrow lanes, visit iconic landmarks like the City Palace, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant overlooking Lake Pichola.

Once you return to the hotel in the afternoon, take a moment to relax and familiarize yourself with your cycling gear. As evening sets in, we will embark on a 10 km warm-up cycling ride around Udaipur’s scenic lakes. This will give you a taste of the picturesque beauty you'll experience over the next nine days. This initial ride helps your guide fine-tune your bike setup to ensure maximum comfort and ease for the journey ahead.

Dinner awaits at the hotel, where you can relax and soak in the excitement of the upcoming adventure.

Note : Todays sightseeing plan depends on arrival time at Uddaipur, most important thing for Day 1 is to fit your bike and give you 10kms of Test Ride.

After a hearty breakfast, the real cycling adventure begins. You’ll start from the hotel and navigate the first few kilometers through Udaipur’s vibrant city streets.

As you leave the bustling city behind, the ride takes you to the outskirts of Udaipur, where rural Rajasthan comes into view. You’ll cycle through charming villages, pass by schools bustling with children, and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. A scenic stop by a lakeside will provide the perfect backdrop for your packed lunch.

In the evening, you’ll dine at the renowned Ambrai Restaurant. This restaurant is famous for its delicious cuisine and stunning views of Udaipur’s illuminated palaces reflecting off the lake’s waters. After dinner, we return to the hotel for a well-deserved rest.

After breakfast, we check out from hotel and drive for approx. 60kms to reach the countryside to avoid Highway and traffic and then we will start our cycling towards Kumbhalgarh. We will pass through a picturesque. We will have our lunch at midway. We will reach Kumbhalgarh around evening and we will check in at one of the best hotel of tour, You may visit Kumbhalgarh fort in the evening if time allows or you may visit next day morning. Kumbhalgarh Fort is a Mewar fortress. Built during the course of the 15th century by Rana Kumbha enlarged through the 19th century. The walls of the fort of Kumbhalgarh extend over 38 km and claimed to be the second-longest continuous wall after the Great Wall of China.

After a refreshing breakfast, today’s ride takes you from Kumbhalgarh to Ranakpur, a route filled with the beauty of nature and history. The road will guide you through the enchanting Aravalli hills as you make your way to one of Rajasthan’s most famous Jain temples.

Ranakpur Temple is renowned for its intricate marble architecture and tranquil ambiance, a sacred space that invites reflection. Dedicated to Rishabha (Adinatha), the temple stands as a testament to Jain craftsmanship and devotion. After exploring the temple, you’ll enjoy lunch along the route and later check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Your journey deepens as you head towards Beda Jawai, a region known for its rugged beauty and the chance to spot elusive wildlife. Cycling through the foothills of the Aravallis, you'll pass through small villages, experiencing the heart of rural Rajasthan. The ride, though long, is filled with stops that invite you to take in the local culture. The colorful homes, bustling village life, and the occasional camel herder along the way can be mesmerizing.

After 60 km of cycling, you’ll reach Beda, where you’ll unwind at a luxurious camp nestled in nature. In the evening, you’ll enjoy a thrilling jeep safari as you explore Jawai’s wilderness, known for its leopard population. If we are lucky, we might be able to spot a leopard or two.

Dinner will be served at the camp, providing a peaceful end to an adventurous day.

Leaving Beda behind, today’s ride takes you even deeper into the pastoral landscape of Rajasthan. The route is off the beaten path, leading you through villages where time seems to stand still. As you cycle past fields, small farms, and traditional homes, you’ll witness the simplicity and warmth of rural life, where the people are as welcoming as they are curious about visitors.

Stopping for a packed lunch along the way, you’ll continue cycling towards Bhenswara, a charming village nestled at the base of the Aravalli range. Here, you’ll spend the night in a comfortable heritage hotel, savoring traditional Rajasthani hospitality and cuisine.

Today is the day to gear up for a challenging yet rewarding 60 km ride to Bhadrajun, a village with legendary significance in Indian mythology. The route winds through the Aravalli hills, offering uphill sections that will test your stamina. You can be certain that the stunning vistas are worth every pedal. The village of Bhadrajun, steeped in history from the Mahabharata, provides a glimpse into ancient lore, with its hidden valleys and fortresses.

After visiting the historic Bhadrajun Fort, you’ll load the bikes into the support vehicle for a drive to Jodhpur, where you’ll spend the night.

Today is all about exploring the ‘Blue City’ of Jodhpur. After breakfast, set out on a guided sightseeing tour of the city’s most famous landmarks. Visit the imposing Mehrangarh Fort, which rises dramatically over the city and offers sweeping views of the blue-painted houses below. The fort’s museum is home to royal artifacts, including weapons, palanquins, and textiles.

You’ll also visit Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, and stroll through the bustling markets of the old city. If time allows, the grand Umaid Bhawan Palace awaits. This palace is a mix of royal residence, luxury hotel, and museum. After a full day of sightseeing, enjoy a final dinner at the hotel and reflect on the week’s incredible journey.
